About The Lunar Circus School

The Lunar Circus is proud of their workshop program which they consider an important part of the company and a valuable way they contribute to the well being of kids.
The Lunar Circus Kids programme offers children the opportunity to experience the circus first hand. From a one hour session to long term projects where the kids present the show themselves, they learn skills such as ground acrobatics, trapeze and ropes, juggling, unicycles, human pyramid building, and other balance and manipulative circus acts in a fun, captivating and safe environment.

Our instructors are highly qualified. They all come from a circus background and have many years of teaching experience having worked as instructors for prominent circus schools such as the Flying Fruit Fly Circus and the Belfast Circus School.
The Lunar Circus School and its founder Matt Yates are highly regarded and enjoy the full support of participating schools and community groups due to the positive outcomes of these projects.

The workshop program is designed to 'reach out' to the community. Through participation, it gives the youth the opportunity and tools necessary to foster positive qualities and healthy self-esteem through constructive self expression.

It is active, it is dynamic and it has proved to be greatly helpful in developing concentration, coordination, interpersonal skills and physical health.
