1. Where is the Lunar Circus Festival located?
At the Lunar Circus Site - Vansitart Rd, Karridale, Western Australia.
The property is 30 kms south of Margaret River off the Bussell Hwy, and is 350km south of Perth.

2. How do I get there?
To get to the site by car, drive along the Bussell Hwy towards Augusta From Margaret River. 30km south of Margaret
River you will drive through the town of Karridale. Follow the signs to the WA Circus Festival.
3. Can I catch public transport there?
To get to Karridale by bus from Perth, contact South West Coachlines on (08) 93242333 or TransWA on 1300 662205.

Please ring the Festival Hotline - Matt Yates' number - 0439 999 793 to organise pick up from Karridale if needed.
There is a pay phone at the General Store where the bus makes the drop off at Karridale. Please bring some change in case your phone doesn't work with the limited phone coverage in the area.
4. What about accommodation?
Camping is available onsite. We provide tent sites, toilets and showers. Please bring your own tent and sleeping gear.

5. What are water supplies like there?
Please be aware water is limited - please bring along a sturdy water containers for use at your campsites and bring as much drinking water as possible.
6. Can I bring my own food?
Unfortunately there will not be any facilities to store or refrigerate any food that you bring to the Festival.
There will be affordable, tasty food available onsite prepared by our fantastic circus chef in the Dr Reg Bolton Bar.
Medications that require storage will be accommodated.
7. What will the weather be like in January?
January is one of the hottest months in the Margaret River area with the highest temperatures up toward the 40C mark, but seldom higher. Please make sure that you stay hydrated and drink lots of water. It can still get cool in the evenings, so make sure you bring along some jumpers and extra blankets too.
8. What about money onsite?
Unfortunatly EFTPoS will not be available on site.
The closest EFTPoS terminal is at the Karridale Tavern.
EFTPoS is also available in Augusta and Margaret River.

10. Is there contact with the outside world at the property?
The property has Telstra mobile coverage, and a pay to use wireless internet access.
11. What other features will there be at the Festival?
Along with the workshops, performances will take place on outdoor stages and inside the Lunar Big Top and Little Top circus tents. The ten acre site will also feature a circus cinema, sideshow ally, Circus Olympics, arts and crafts markets, food stalls and the Dr Reg Bolton Bar will take festival goers late into the evening.
12. How many people attend the Festival?
At the last WA Circus Festival in 2008, close to 2000 people converged on the Karridale site over the three week Festival program.
